Pepys connects to Zoom with read-only recording permissions. After a meeting has finished and Zoom has completed the cloud recording, choose it from Pepys and start transcription. Pepys does not join the call or record the meeting itself.

No. It imports a completed Zoom cloud recording after the meeting.

Completed cloud recordings from the last 30 days are available in the Pepys picker.
Can Pepys access local Zoom recordings?
Upload a local recording file to Pepys. The Zoom connection itself browses Zoom cloud recordings.
