How do you transcribe a Dropbox file?

How do I transcribe a Dropbox file?
Create a shared link for the individual audio or video file in Dropbox, paste it on this page, and select Transcribe. Pepys fetches the file and creates the transcript without requiring you to download it first.
Do I need to connect my Dropbox account?
No. A shared file link is enough. The link must let Pepys download the file without signing in. Private, password-protected, or otherwise restricted links cannot be imported.
Can I paste a Dropbox folder link?
Not yet. Paste a shared link to one audio or video file. If you have a folder or a restricted file, download the recording from Dropbox and upload it to Pepys instead.
Which Dropbox files can Pepys transcribe?
Most common audio and video formats work, including MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, and MOV. The shared link must point to the file itself and allow it to be downloaded.
